I worked for a GC through college in the summers so I can do some basic stuff around the house but had no idea how difficult it was. Fuck hinges. I work at a door shop and I help put 100s of doors together everyday. But they're in their casing and everything. So I can see how it'd be difficult with one person trying to hang a door. We wouldn't even try that with one person. Though I did put bushings in a car door all by myself once.
