I know if I have a discussion with you, even if we don't agree, it'll generally be civil and in good faith. Sometimes you'll just bail out, but that's probably for the best. Discretion can be the better part of valor sometimes. But I'm glad that's the case! I guess I don't think you're ever PURELY a devil's advocate, but I think you can be pushed into a corner once and while where you are kind of forced to start defending something that wasn't your initial point.
