Just to point out what the stats are saying; When it comes to people aged 18-34 in this survey - 36% would be uncomfortable to learn that a family member is LGBTQ (An increase of 12% from 2016) - 33% would be uncomfortable for their child to be taught by a LGBTQ teacher (An increase of 8% since 2016) - 34% would be uncomfortable to learn their doctor is LGBTQ (an increase of 12% since 2016) - 39% would be uncomfortable to learn that their child has had a lesson on LGBTQ history in their school (an increase of 12% since 2016)
None of these have anything to do with people arguing over politics or people being too mean or having sex with trans people. It's about not feeling comfortable that important people in their life are LGBTQ.
