Not to offend, but I really think that lumping LGB with Trans people in a survey like this is going to skew the data. People are much less accepting of trans individuals than they are of gay and lesbian people. And this is coming from a member of the LGB.

I never understood why trans people are lumped together with gay/bi people under that umbrella acronym. Aren't the two concepts of liking the same gender and entirely changing your own gender, different enough to give them their own categories?


The idea is that the umbrella protects any orientation or identity different from the social norm of hetero/straight.
