Who cares what white people think
Because it affects our career, our relationships, and how society at large perceives us? It's not just white people. It's almost every single person in society. They'll take the poor actions of one person, and judge the entire group with it.
If you think you can get by in life without worrying what people think about you, you are being incredibly naive.
Good lord you sound pathetic.
That's their problem if they do that, not yours. I grew up as one of the few brown kids around mostly white people and never felt I had to hold myself to a higher standard to not turn them into racists.
