They had just finished a divorce on that day and got into an argument and Joseph went on a rage where he went into his car and intentionally rammed his car into hers by rear ending her and attempted to RUN HER OFF THE ROAD while she was on the phone with police!! After his arrest, she petitioned a temporary injunction for protection that was granted and federal law prohibits under domestic violence restraining order from possessing firearms but it's up to local law enforcement to enforce it Those two, together with her pleas, should have been enough for the police to legally collect the guns and potentially never allow him to own guns ever again.
