As a child John learned of his power when he accidentally turned his eye into a bullet and shot his mother. His father abandoned the freak that killed his wife and he was placed in foster care. Now grown John despises guns and blames himself for his family being torn apart. He hunts criminals who use them for evil, but every time he uses his ability, he loses a piece of himself as well.
