Oh no, a single case of censorship being undone due to monetary gain. I guess that discounts the 3-4 decades and dozens upon dozens of examples of what I was saying.
But hey, I'll play the "single anecdotal evidence game" and even add the difficulty of using the very same company.

Dragon Quest VIII sold very well on 3DS and is routinely recommended as the definitive version despite me disagreeing with that notion due to the removal of Jessica's cheesecake outfits.
