The wishlist thing seems particularly scummy to me. He's already making $100,000+ a year, mostly from donations. He rarely upgrades his setup or spends much to improve his streaming capability, and he complains constantly about not being able to afford games, clearly hinting that fans should buy them for him. Basically, most of the money is going towards his bills, taxes, and day-to-day stuff, not streaming. And yet he feels he needs to be given more. His fans, who already pay for him to live well beyond his means, are expected to give him more. At least a Twitch thot tries to earn the money they are given.

Edit: I also think the Etika thing is super scummy, because there is no way someone making another person's suicide all about themselves isn't terrible.

The wishlist is more of a smokescreen. If you want to maintain the lie that you have no money, you can't just buy any game you want on a whim. He could very well fulfill some items in the list himself, this will not raise questions, since these will laregly be anonymous.

The Etika thing though... I know I shouldn't get mad, I really do, but fuck me. Phil admits he doesn't know the guy, but uses his death for 20-30 minutes to throw a pity party about himself. It's all I I I, me me me. And the fucker has the goddamn gall to monitize the video too. What an unredeemable fucking sack of shit. And it's not the first time he did this too. I just can't with this asshole.

Also, in a similar vein, Boogie2988 is doing the exact same thing. Went on twitter to show how much he donated to charity in light of Etika's death, while all tweets regaedinf the subject contains atleas 5 times and more I/me. It's disgusting as fuck.
