My mother came to America undocumented. This issue means a lot to me.
Conservatives and Republicans should be fucking ashamed of themselves for their rhetoric. But I'm not going to praise the do-nothings for getting virtue photo ops at immigrants' expense.
Close these camps down. End of story.

That's the part I don't get
People are mad at her for being sad instead of trying.
But when she tries they get mad at her for trying...
That part confuses me as well.
I mean, I absolutely get calling out people for feigned empathy, especially the ones that turn around asking for praise and accolades for putting on a good show. But it's my understanding that AOC *actually* cares, and has been consistent with her view of these concentration camps and her concern for those trapped within them.
I think those people would say she's still just doing it for attention. Basically it's a no-win situation with hypocrites. ---
