| Darmik 06/26/19 7:45:20 PM #1: | 2013-2014 were the peak years for the system. - Super Mario 3D World - Pikmin 3 - The Wonderful 101 - Super Luigi U - Mario Kart 8 - Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze - Super Smash Bros for Wii U - Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker - Bayonetta 2 Around this time they also had Wii Virtual Console games like Metroid Prime Trilogy and Mario Galaxy for $9. SNES games like Super Metroid for under $1. Miiverse is still the most fun game community I've seen on a console and I'm sad it's gone. Good times. Majority of Wii U games have now moved onto Switch and Miiverse is dead but the Wii U is now the ultimate retro legacy console thanks to its hardware and homebrew potential.
