A school being lazy to deal with a bullying situation does make them responsible for attacks that happen outside of school grounds against people that aren't even students. If it did every school in the world would be sued into oblivion because you could blame them for practically every violent crime committed by a minor. On and fyi the kid that attacked her is black so I doubt the race card is going to be very effective in this situation. Bummer, eh?

I love how you make up your own tangents to imply I'm making this a "only white people can be racist", pull the 'race card' or even cared about the abuser's race.

If a student raped another student, the school knew about it and did NOTHING about it and that student went a raped a random adult then yeah, the school would be accountable just the same as the rapist.

It doesn't matter if the abuser was a white kid or black kid or Asian kid, or gay or straight or bi, or male or female or trans or anything else.

The school had knowledge that one of their students was racially abusive to another student. They did nothing to punish the abuser, giving him justification for his behavior.

Had the punished the kid, reported him, did ANYTHING to prevent his racial abuse then they wouldn't be at fault. They didn't though. That's a problem. Just because it didn't happen on school grounds doesn't mean they aren't at fault.
