Like I said it takes a different approach, but if you don't appreciate camp and humor along with your mindless gore then it won't gel well with you. Honestly the original should've been more campy I think. It's hard to take a storyline like "Cornered criminal calls upon voodoo magic to confound cops by concealing his soul in a kid's plaything" completely seriously. P.S.
