Who was the front-runner in the 2008 Dem primary? I think it was some woman who lost to a black dude with a funny name...it's escaping my mind right now. Oh, but then there was 1992, when some random dude from Arkansas wound up winning the nomination even though he was polling in the single digits 7 months before anyone voted.
