Compared to Hereditary, it seems meandering a lot more, with random unsettling stuff just to be unsettling. Like, I get a lot of the symbolism, and I get the overall theme of it, but I feel like it took a long time to get there, and a lot of the movie just felt like fluff. I normally love movies like this, but this just didn't feel like it had enough substance in it for the length it was, and the unsettling weirdness of it all just didn't seem like it had enough of a purpose for me.
