Into the Mouth of Madness combines Lovecraftian horror with body horror and features the Children of the Corn. Honestly there's not much to say about this movie other than that it feels like a hodgepodge of other successful movies, tropes, and ideas so much so that despite the (at the time) unique premise it loses its own voice. I mean sure it was interesting to see all of them play out together, but it was better the first time I saw each of them elsewhere. In the Mouth of Madness is a fitting title, because it's nothing more than insanity in cinematic form. 5.7/10 --- I've decided to put my fears behind me.
