People are leaving WoW in droves to play Shadowbringers. ShB is doing gangbusters right now. it's the most popular FFXIV has ever been. It's the highest rated game of 2019. Squenix is promoting the FUCK out of it. FFXIV is in a phenomenal spot right now. However. WoW Classic is coming out in like a month and a half. I fully expect WoW Classic is going to blow ShB out of the water. I think Classic is going to smash Twitch viewing records. It's going to smash modern WoW sub numbers. Now where it goes from there who can say. They've said Classic won't get content patches. Who knows if they'll do TBC or Wrath servers eventually. It's entirely possible Classic won't last in popularity. And I have never played WoW, and just knowing the history of the game and how popular it was in the past, I expect these things to happen.
