He says views have been up and people have been very generous, yet his financial situation is somehow still getting worse and is apparently months away from getting better. Then he says he's been trying to do things to fix it, that one thing being making the wishlist. So his solution is, of course, more begging. Fans have been generous, so Phil is going to help himself by asking the fans to give even more. It's never about producing more or better content, or changing things to try to attract new viewers.
