As the realization hit the Racer, their mouth opened wide, a look of terror crossing their face. You how could you?!

The Heir looked up. They got to their feet, and charged at the Painter.

One gunshot rang out.

As the Heir fell to the floor, the Painter laughed. Did you really think I was out of bullets? Fool. And here I was, offering to split it all.

The Heir clutched their stomach as they bled out.
