You have limited saves due to Ink Ribbons. less ammo, enemies are tougher. Assisted on the other hand as implied has aim assist so is very easy. So I'd strongly suggest playing on normal unless you found RE4 absurdly easy or absurdly hard. Arguably spoilers ahead (no plot spoilers but advice that might hurt going in blind since it will talk about gameplay. Also remember that unlike RE4 you dont have to kill enemies. You can easily just ignore a ton of them by avoiding them. It's often not worth headshotting enemies as it is semi-randomized how many hits it will take to kill them. Often it's much smarter to shoot them in the kneecap which causes them to stagger and then you can just run past them. This is a huge ammo saver The Licker cannot hear you if you walk. Only use Wooden Boards on either open windows or windows Zombies are banging on. If there are no zombies and the window is closed, boarding it up is a waste. Never use single herbs, always combine them. Mr X cannot follow you into save rooms Search every nook and cranny, items are everywhere and the map will tell you whether or not there is more to find or if the room is depeleted.
