The crux of that song relies on the hyenas being silly, semi-comic relief. By making them more sinister, them shaking their butts and going PLAN PLAN PLAN would seem out of place. I like the ending in this one more specifically because I feel like the hyenas turn is much more clearly foreshadowed from their very first scene with Scar. Still not as good as the original yeah but I at least get why they had to change Be Prepared. They were never going to be able to top the original anyway so eh. --- Moops?
