Just wanna point out that either Gordon fell off the face of the earth sometime between 2013 and 2018, or something really wonky happened in that Bowser/Gordon match, because every set of data going back to 2006 when Gordon finally pulled himself out of the doldrums has Bowser/Gordon pretty consistently being roughly a 60-40 match. I think it was both. We all know what's happened to the Half-Life franchise in general and to Western games' fanbases on GameFAQs, so it makes sense that Gordon would be a lot weaker. At the same time, I feel like he only really gets icon/respect votes these days, so Bowser was a particularly bad matchup for him. --- "I believe in a universe that doesn't care, and people who do."
