"They fight. A real Magnificent Seven scenario."

"Magnificent Seven?" Raven says.

"Yes, a group of cowboys, seven of them obviously, defend a Mexican village under attack from a large group of bandits. There's also a remake where it's an American town and an evil tycoon. Both are really good."

Yuusha and his allies rally the villagers into preparing defenses. The women make sure the children are safe in basements before helping cooking up a few poisons for Sakkakumaru. In the few hours they have, Kumomaru has the men forge metal for crude but defensive weapons, and build wooden barriers with sharp points. Panchi and Segatakai pick out the fittest men of all ages and have them be the front line while the others are a last line of security for the women and children.

"Oh, I just thought about something about Magnificent Seven," you say.

"Is it the same as what I remembered about the 300?" Raven asks.

"Possibly. Is it about casualties on the heroes' side of the fight?"

"Yeah pretty much," Raven says. "300 had the Spartans lose all, well, 300 warriors."

"Magnificent Seven only lost about half of the main group," you say. "I'm hoping we're getting more Magnificent Seven at this point."

"Who do you think dies then?"

"Well Yuusha won't, he's literally the hero. But of the other four, I'm thinking the most likely is..."
