It's bland, the side groups are legitimately the worst of the series, the battle system really kills you if you play some specific ways, and how tedious the game gets the more hours you put into the game. Dragon battle, go to the same dungeon three times for miscellaneous tasks, dragon battle again, fast travel anywhere, end up in another dragon battle, head somewhere a dragon battle doesn't exist, get a game breaking glitch. That's Skyrim in a nutshell. I've played maybe an hour of BotW and it immediately shows how much better of a game it is than Skyrim. It's like what happens when you actually take a world like Skyrim's and actually make it good by removing tedious, repeating battles, and add mechanics that Skyrim needed to be any good. --- I'll just go back to gifs.
