I only ask because someone mentioned something about that once... I see no set rule. Some folk shop everyday where as others once a week, fortnight or even month. Those who shop everyday probably do so because they buy fresh for the most part I'd imagine. Even if they don't it's not difficult to nip into a shop and pick up a few things when they are out and about. Of course some folk shop online too. I'd just be way too lazy to shop everyday. I find shops to be annoying for the most part too.
