Then we have Vincent. He was already a doctor as September 11th. Even if he hadn't fully gone through his residency, etc, that would make him probably at least 25 at the time (and 10-12 years older than that when the show starts, meaning there's probably a substantial age difference between Vincent and Cat but nothing absolutely insane). Maybe they're in the same world that all Japanese anime and video games take place in, where you can be a legendary retired veteran soldier in your mid-20s or a famous neurosurgeon in your late teens.
