People are changing their minds on Jackson because he recognized that he was hated and cleaned up his act. Plus, he became an underdog, and viewers LOVE underdogs. Now he's not anymore, though. You're overestimating the intelligence of the casuals also. They might just have it out for Christie and for some reason took Nick's side over her in Taco Tuesday (I was rooting for her to rip into him). Also Nick wasn't going to nominate Jackson.
