I think bashing on Liv Morgan for her gimmick isn't really fair. It's hard to have much of a gimmick when your schtick is to be part of a 3 character group and that group has no time given to them for characterization whatsoever.

Like I mean she's not a particularly good wrestler but I feel like if she was given a singles run and packaged with a gimmick of some sort and given promo time she might be able to pull something off? Like it's just weird to really give any of the Riott squad any heat for that kinda stuff.

You misunderstand me.

I'm not really giving HER crap for her gimmick, specifically. I fully acknowledge they were never given the time to develop.

I'm just saying there was nothing particularly interesting about her, whoever's fault that was, so it came off weird to me to be hyped about Liv Morgan's character of all people.

Like, all she did was stick out her tongue. And that's not necessarily her fault, since like you said, they never had time. I just find it odd to be like "She was the best part of the Riott Squad" as some kind of praise when they didn't ever really do anything, so it's not exactly a high bar.

I mean I'm fairly certain her being 'the best part of the Riott Squad' boiled down to 2 things and neither are actually wrestling related.

1. She was by far the most attractive of the 3
2. She was the one whose look stood out the most (depending how you viewed Ruby's look)

Despite Ruby being the leader, it seemed that Liv and Sarah got more screentime as Ruby seemed to just be missing a lot and Liv/Sarah would be the representative in singles/tag matches.
