It's neat that there's dialogue you can only get with him in your party here. I feel like that wasn't very common in JRPGs up to this point. Also, there's a young kid NPC here literally called Big Bad Rascal. I added the Zell card to my Triple Triad deck. On a related note, I hate it when an NPC who has a rare card takes forever to actually play it. Also, it is absurdly easy to get 100 Curagas for all three of your party members because 1 Tent refines into 10 of them, and Tents are relatively cheap. Curagas junction really well to HP, too, so basically before you even get on the train to Timber, you can have your party members with HP at a level where they don't have to ever really worry about anything. --- ...
