Marianne Prologue: I want to say the stat booster was a Giant Shell (DEF+2) but I'm not 100% sure. Was it the 4 wolves spawning at once as reinforcements on the right that pressured you into ending it early? I almost couldn't believe that spawn. I had some units there to see 3 of them as it happened and then the 4th rushed me. Thankfully I had the firepower in the area to handle it but I can definitely see how that could be a problem if you were unlucky with how you moved/positioned, especially if you haven't used Marianne and her stats are at/near what they were when recruited.
Yeah. I probably could have survived it (especially if I had been willing to let some units die since I'm on casual...), but the biggest threat was the boss and I was kinda committed to engaging with him. Tanking his attacks for several turns while cleaning up everything else was looking kinda dicey. ---
