| Topic | How many prizes can I win at the fair? |
| HaRRicH 09/12/19 11:13:18 PM #112: | I'm becoming pretty recognized at the fair. Whether I'm walking in or walking out, people near the entrances have something to say. I'll touch on a few things I've heard over the past week: ----- "Wow, that's a cool koala!" "Thanks, raised him myself!" ----- "You're the guy who won the other day. My daughter loved that other prize you won." "Thanks! This one's alright too I guess." ----- "That's the biggest prize I ever saw!" "Cool, yeah, Bottle Up's the place to win them!" ----- "Look at that bear!" "I like your prize too!" ----- You see the passing conversations happening with a prize. I try to smile and say something playful back. A lot of the time, they'll be comments not meant for me to really hear and respond with, so they wash right by...pretty fun I suppose. I'm walking around and am trying to figure out something fun to do with the water in the fair. I'm sizing up angles and shots, then about the time I'm done I realize there's a finger sticking into the lake and they're offering pedal-based boat rides. I go up and talk with Steve and Juan who are running the rides. I ask them if they allow people to ride boats with their prizes. They say sure -- great, this wouldn't be like the Kamikaze attempt the other night.
