I go to Bottle Up -- it's just Duwana today. She shows me shade for showing up again, so I trow it back today.

I return to a go-to of mine I don't think I've told ya'll about yet: when the game-runners dish it with their "You can't win an animal anymore" talk, I just start looking for other things I can win instead. Duwana particularly loses it when I say I'm willing to play for the speakers instead of an animal, and like clockwork she's like "WHAT?! THOSE ARE LIKE SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS!" I don't care -- "Okay, I'll pay $40 then instead of $5, that's fair right?" This gets her riled up more.

I ask her if she's left-handed since she stands the bottle with her left hand -- she is, as expected. We then take turns trying the game with our other hands and neither of us can stand it up (note to self: train for next year). It was a fun moment to goof around for each of us to be bad at this game we know how to play.

She tells me to come back later because nobody's there -- I push back again, saying I got things to do tonight! She takes my $5 and says to go on then. She goes on the headset and hypes me up to the surrounding people as somebody who knows how to play the game so they should watch me -- that's respect.

First try. Respect is earned.

I see a rainbow bear that I think is just too big to turn down, so I ask her to bring it down gently because the back of my elephant's head got torn when Buddy brought it down the other night. Duwana says "Yeah, well, Buddy's a jerk." My new friend doesn't have a tear that I see, so we're good.

I zip out so I can leave faster, but first I have to check back in with the pedal-boats.
