When I made this topic last week, I thought seven prizes would be the maximum I could win. One week later, I'm winning my eighth and there's still two days left.

I wanted a green snake today to match my blue and pink snakes, so I decided to call my shot.

There was a face-painting booth on the far other side of the fair, so I went over there and asked a woman named Crispy to do something with a green snake on my face please. She looked at me funny, then let me have a seat.

Now, to be clear, like most things at the fair, the face-painting is marketed for kids. Crispy was caught off-guard about me in a few different ways -- one for being outside of her demographic, another for knowing I was calling my shot, but mainly she was not used to people sitting so still while she painted faces. The kids have a bigger chair than the stool I was allowed to sit in. #adulting

Crispy reminded me a lot of a girl I knew from NYC named Christian, and as we got to talking she said she was from NYC -- whoa. It wasn't her...I think...but it was fun to talk shop about the city for a minute. She travels with the fair and dates another person working the fair, a guy who takes pictures with a green screen background named Randy. Turns out, that booth is right beside Bottle Up, so I tell her I'll stop by later and say hey to him.
