Man, is it the fourth one already? This is fast approaching slasher series levels of sequelitis! Maybe I should slap a final chapter up there and just do another one next year anyway.

Well with two weeks until October, and myself being in a extra horror mood even more than normal, it's time to welcome all boys and ghouls to the latest installment of Snake Ranks Anything Horror Related, the annual series where I take your spooky nominations and try to make sense of the horrors that lie within them (with a numbered point rankings system)! This is one of my favorite parts of the Halloween season, and I couldn't imagine having an October pass without doing one of these now.

Rules:

1. You may nominate up to 5 horror-related things. Movies, books, games, TV episodes, online shorts, abstract concepts, it's all fair game. Whether it's horror-related is up to my discretion, and I'm very lenient about it so don't worry and just nominate what you want, even if it's a very fringe thing.

2. Do not nominate anything from the past years. The nominations will all be handily listed below in one document.

3. Nominations are ranked with three criteria: importance to the horror genre, fear factor, and my own personal enjoyment. In case of ties, rankings are weighted towards my personal preference.

4. As usual, I will be looking for at least 100 items.

5. All nominations unknown to me will be thoroughly researched and I will also do my best to personally experience it myself.

6. Have fun and get scared!
