I kept trying to convince myself they wouldn't make things so obvious, but nope. It did let the season down, but as you said it was a good cast which kept things enjoyable. All star season next year should be good - there have been as lot of decent players to choose from. The previews I saw allowed me to infer what was going to happen next, alongside the completely obvious buildups. The winner was advertised in neon lights to make for a more satisfying ending, but it had the exact opposite effect in that it instead removed all tension from the final stretch of the game. The good cast couldn't save this season simply because they weren't edited properly. I will NEVER live it down that Sam never got a single confessional. Casey should've been more of a focus as well given her snark, Daisy should have made more sense with her game moves, Simon should've received more airtime so we'd at least know who he was closest to, and... I could go on. They did a terrible job making this cast as great as it actually was. This season had all the makings of a great one, but it was squandered by the edit. You know it's bad when the first season was edited better. I hope All-Stars is better but I'm not holding my breath. I'm expecting a sloppy edit to ruin that one, too. I know most of the cast, but here's who I'd like to see back: S1: Nick, Flick, Kristie, Phoebe, Andrew or Craig S2: Michelle, Sarah, Tess, Jericho, Henry, AK, Locky S3: Benji, Sharn, Shane, Mat R, Shonee, Paige S4: Harry, David, Andy, Pia, Casey, Ross Benji being there meant I had to put Mat on and exclude Anneliese. I'd have put King Luke on here but he's already been on twice, and I don't like the idea of separating him from his family again. Would've really liked there to have been one more (theme-less) season before an All-Stars though, so we wouldn't have to put up with Lee and could feasibly get Ross back (who is obviously not on because he hasn't 100% healed).
