The theme is dumb, the previews aren't advertising what I want them to, and I'm getting to a point where Survivor just isn't about the things that made me love it for so long anymore. It's about swaps, advantages, idols, gimmicks, and luck as opposed to the human elements that emerge when people are stripped to their cores and the social strategy that emerges when they are forced to manipulate each other. Survivor is long past its peak. At least Survivor SA is still really good.
