True, and if you can prove Trump committed treason or bribery to the satisfaction of a court of law you might even have a point!

Well, I'm not saying that this exactly fits either of those, just that there are some crimes explicitly deemed to be impeachable offenses!

Colloquially, though, I mean (and think most people would understand the term to mean) that impeachable offenses are either things that are crimes for which anyone other than the president would be indicted, or actions that involve the president abusing the powers of his office in clearly unintended ways (the Ukraine extortion definitely falling under the latter).
