I got assigned to be the formatter for our first project in Engineerimg Orientation, and the guy who was supposed to do the efficiency calculation had arrived at a value with a dadgum unit of like g/mm or some crap. It wasn't even a hard calculation. So I call up the guy and ask if he can recalculate because an efficiency doesn't have units, and he just dismissively tells me he did it how it said in the book.
Well, I knew how it said to do it in the book, and this was nothing like. Well, I wasn't gonna do it for him and seeing as it would have been even more effort to drag his lazy A through it, I just saved the document and sent it off.
We got a dang D on the project because of this one page. Everyone was irate (at lazy A) and astoundingly, he didn't give us any more trouble the entire semester.
Caught between teaching him a lesson and taking a bad grade. Hate that. ---
