I am in the airport getting back from my Yale admissions interview as I posted a few weeks back, and I dont have anywhere else to track this stuff, so what the hell, why not here.

Current status
Yale: Interview complete will get decision on Dec. 4
Ross (Michigan): Interview invitation received; need to schedule it
Harvard: Application almost completed, need to revise essay
Wharton: Application not started
Chicago: Application not started; not sure I want to live here
Stanford: Application not started; not sure I want to live here

If worse comes to worst I can definitely get it from my alma mater but I want to aim higher, especially because I am already past the first hurdle at two great programs.

Yale was surprisingly chill. I like it there everyone seemed collaborative in the class I attended, people were raising each other up, and they hard commit to interdisciplinary instruction. Plus they actually give a shit about academics, which matters to me because I dont know much about investing, finance, etc. I have been exclusively supply chain and customer-side-focused in my career so far, so I want to get a bigger view.

I also got to talk to a guy whos made a damn good career in private equity, and he offered to send me a presentation he often gives that outlines the basics of it. That was cool.

Michigan is up next, which is great because I can literally just walk to it if need be. I am not expecting it to be as cozy as Yale, but I am sure they will have their own unique selling points.

This is mostly just to organize my own thoughts and track myself (the threat of purge will force me to update on a regular basis), but if you guys have comments and/or advice, feel free.
