Then people who wanted to win moved in and exploited the format in a way that showed it really isn't all that casual-oriented when people optimize it. But people still play it despite its flaws due to inertia. tl;dr Commander has problems and I'm just not interested in it at all. Theros leaks look cool. Nothing too crazy plus great flavor.
