I finally get to talk about a Mania song that I feel completely and utterly improved the original! The complete ditching of FM-sounding instruments was a risky but incredibly rewarding sound design choice and it helps this song fulfill its potential. The melody can still be quiet at times, but it doesn't feel like it's straight up taking a backseat anymore, and blends with the other stuff really well. It completely shed the hokey feel and now truly sounds like a mischievous Arabian adventure and god it's just so cool!! Thank you Tee Lopes for giving us this great rendition!! This song is like being part of a samba float in a parade on Cinco de Mayo or something, it's just like injecting pure happy into your bloodstream and it's really fun!!
