I did this to one of my Dads friends around 2 years ago.
He retired from work, so spent a lot of time with this Grandchildren. He liked Spongebob and Ben 10, so I told him to watch Avatar The Last Airbender.
One of his Grandchildren's birthday was around a month away, so he brought the Book 1 boxset and when they next came round to his house he watched it with them over a week.
He told my Dad to thank me for the reccomendation and went out to buy Book 2 and Book 3 for himself. He gave them to his Grandchildren after he finished watching them.
