A Plague Tale: Innocence (PC)

It's The Last of Us in Medieval Europe.

Well close enough. It's got the crafting, the stealth, the emotional stuff. Majority of the gameplay is based on stealth and with good reason that you're all helpless children so a seasoned soldier of the Inquisition can kill you in one hit. Few bosses, but it was really more of a narrative experience. That final boss though, super sick and disgusting.

No complaints, just annoyances. Voice acting is kinda grating but they are children and there's not alot of it. Some of the stealth was kind of hard but at least there was more than 1 way to do something and the battle sequences felt forced and difficult only because of the one hit kill but that was only by the end and you're expected to have upgraded gear already.

Title implies there might be more games to this. Would love to see it, but I wish they wouldn't reuse the same cast, or at least maximize the time skip.

Finished it with all collectibles.

It's not so cliche anymore when it's happening to you.
