Its sort of a broken Aesop on the traditional X Men set up and it has an awful lot of potential. I think it could be strengthened if it could further flesh out the roles of the other team members because as of now I am a little fuzzy on what this book looks like on the Page. Ive got no fucking idea what's supposed to be happening in this New experiments book at this point. Iceman RetroaXtive vs Otherworld X These are both kinda feeling like What If? Scenarios that don't build on heavy continuity. I'll be honest Retroaxtive has a lot of dead weight character wise but the core Magneto-Bishop-Domino dynamic is really what you come for. Otherworld meanwhile is definitely very fun but it feels like the most exciting parts of his pitch have no links to his actual team and the way he sells it he accidentally makes his own team out to be kinda losers? Lopen gets the nod here his more cohesive idea and for the idea of Domino/Bishop as a comic duo.
