I guess Gretzky vs. Jordan is a cool match but I think it'll play out pretty predictably.
Predictably = Jordan winning? Probably, but after he beat Sanders so easily, I think Gretzky has a real shot at winning the whole thing. It can be easily argued that he dominated his sport more than Jordan did basketball, and some could gravitate to that argument.
At this point, I think the most compelling final would be Gretzky vs. Ali. You have complete statistical dominance of the sport on one side versus nearly immeasurable impact outside the sport on the other side.
