Chapter 4 - Golden Ridge

So I had to break this chapter up in a couple sittings. Im still really liking this game a lot. The wind got frustrating at times, but fighting that resistance for much of the final third of the chapter made for kind of a fun end where the wind is at your back and theres really no way to stop yourself from moving forward.

It took me a bit to figure out how to manipulate the moving blocks. Chapter 4 lacks the atmosphere of 3 but theres really some clever level design happening. There were a few moments where I said aloud, how the hell do I this? And every subsequent a-ha moment was among the most fun Ive had playing Celeste so far. Theres some real satisfaction in getting some of the tougher strawberries this probably sounds adorably naive coming from someone who doesnt know what this game still has in store.

I collected 17 strawberries which I felt pretty good about, thinking there were 20 or 25 strawberries. Theres 29 LOL oh well. Ive only found one cassette and one crystal heart location (and I couldnt even figure out how to get it), but Im going to continue avoiding the use of a guide to find collectibles. Ill have a lot of searching to do when I revisit these chapters.
