Due to RE2 winning 3 polls, it looks like Allen decided to choose Sekiro as one of the second place finishers from the polls it previously appeared in. Devil May Cry 5 also got into the overall GotY poll despite finishing behind 4 games in the PS4 poll and 3 games in the Xbox One poll. Outer Wilds somehow got into the overall GotY poll despite looking like absolute garbage in all of its previous polls (PS4, Xbox One, PC, Indies).
