Zombicide is pretty fun for what it is, but I'm not really into dungeon crawlers much, because my probably least favorite thing that can happen in board games is quarterbacking. Of course it all depends on your play group, but if you aren't discussing what is going on, why even play with people, so there will be naturally some form of quarterbacking, and I just don't like it. the balance between optimization and letting everyone do their own thing is very tricky in co-ops. that said, zombicide seemed to me simple/"casual" enough to defy a need for qb'ing. but again, i haven't gotten deep enough. i'm sure it can be fun! i just want to experience it...! --- yet all sailors of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness ...
