That's not wrong, but you can get the same peace of mind by meal prepping for the week before you have that long day, usually with better food. Labour-wise, there's not much difference between pulling a dirt cheap pot pie out of the freezer and pulling a tupperware full of sesame ginger pork and garlic green beans out of the fridge, but the latter's going to taste better and generally be healthier. Just a matter of planning.

But with this, he doesnt have to meal plan. And its a nice quick snack for whenever. Especially if he just gets hungry out of nowhere. And can work with meal planning, as well... Plus, while he does have to cook it, it may taste better than warmed up leftovers (I use the term left overs because even though its not technically leftovers, its the basic taste as its something cooked and then out into the fridge). Plus, being insanely cheap is probably the reason hes buying these is the first place. Which is most likely cheaper than ingredients for a bunch of meals...
