The problem is that they have video and witnesses to what happened; so Warren has every right to get upset about being called a liar on national television. I suppose this is like the bit with Trump where, whenever there's audio of him doing morally bankrupt, disgusting, repugnant stuff (like video of him with Jeffrey Epstein) it's all 'fake' news and invented to destroy him.
